What is the best eye make up colors to compliment brown eyes?

Bonjour à tous, welcome back to FLAWLESS BEAUTY BLOG BY NAKIBA.

We often see some people who have really great eyes and wish we could have eyes like theirs. But one must always remember that having an eyesight is a great gift, and we must be ever-so-grateful for it.

The most common eye color in the world is brown. People with brown eyes are attractive and confident. It is a strong and rich color, and it is associated with earth and thus, simplicity, creativity and positivism are some things that you can always find in people who have brown eyes.

So are you a brown – eyed gal? Do you want to make your eyes pop? Read on to find out.

There are so many choices when it comes down to creating the perfect eye makeup look for brown eyes. Because brown doesn’t have a complementary or opposite on the color wheel, they are the most fun to play with. Brown eyes are neutral and can wear any eye color eyeshadow. I recommend choices that include contrasting colors, such as greens, blues, greys and silvers.

I also, suggest navies and sapphires as your darker colour (ACCENT COLOUR). Additionally, smudge a fine line of that same color over the brown or black eyeliner on the upper lashes, with a little under the outer edge of lower lashes as well.

For the lids, go with more neutral colors, remember that beige isn’t the only neutral colour; some shades of champagne, pink, peach and even orange can act as neutral.

Depending on your shade of brown eyes, there are certain colors that will complement your eyes better than others.

Light brown eyes

If you have light brown eyes use eye shadow with some degree of gold shimmer to bring out the gold flecks.

Medium brown eyes

For medium brown eyes you can wear almost any color eye makeup. Violet, green, bronze colored eye shadows, can work wonders. Neutral shadow with metallic eyeliner in copper or bronze are perfect for making your brown eyes pop.

Deep brown eyes

If your eyes are dark brown, medium to dark shades of eyeshadow will work for you. I suggest plum, forest green or charcoal grey. Also try dark browns or mauves, gold and bronze are absolutely beautiful on your eyes.

EYELINERS

You can’t go wrong with earthly brownmink gray, purple, champagne, navy and cobalt but “amber and midnightblue tones emphasize the light flecks in brown eyes,” says Tilbury. If you’re not ready to commit to too much colour, line your waterlines only. Rimming the eyes in dark blue gives the same effect as black in a less severe way.

You can also use black eyeliner, the power and versatility of black eyeliner can’t be disputed, but sometimes lining with an inky hue can make eyes look flat. For every eye colour there are certain shades that can enhance their beauty by boosting their natural hue, and other impact.

MASCARA

For mascaras a black one is a universal rule that everyone looks good in black mascara. Even on the fairest skin. It provides a dramatic frame for the eyes. For darker skinned tones, it adds drama to fringe.

classic black mascara looks all well and good but there’s also a serious cause to be brown lashes. If you have fair skin and prefer a natural look, a rich brown mascara is your best friend! the softer brown tone harmonize with blondlight brown, or even light red hair, so that no one but you will know you have invisible eyelashes!

Instead of using something dark, like black in mascara, why not switch it up a little bit? Try an eggplant shade mascara.

TIPS

A lot of people don’t think white eyeliner isn’t attractive, but if you pair white eyeliner with metallic tones will that bring out your brown eyes.

Have fun and be creative, mixing and matching colours to suit your personality, what you are wearing or the event or situation for which you are dressing up.

Try different types of eye shadows like powders, minerals, cream, gels and pencils to determine which one works best for you.

Mix and match more than one colour of eye shadow or mulitple shades within the colour spectrum in a rainbow or ombre effect for an over- the – top eye look.

Apply shimmers in metallic colours on top of a normal eyeshadow colours to add depth or achieve an unusual look.

NOTE: Before you pick any of these eye makeup colour, just remember no matter what always take your skin tone into consideration. After all, you don’t want to get something that is listed here and it doesn’t work with your skin tone! I’ll help you guys out by choosing the best eye makeup colour for your skin tone in an up coming post.
